Event:  July 12th – Johnson Cultural Centre Artists Retreat Gala

In 2003 Gerald and Joan Johnson, longtime residents of Cypress Hills Park met with the Friends of Cypress Hills Park to make arrangements to have their cottage transformed into an Artist Residence. It was officially transferred over on September 1st, 2015.
Why did they do this? So that it could be operated as a non-profit charitable facility and residence to be used by selected persons who are working on their artistic or educational pursuits while also providing a wholesome, peaceful and inspiring natural environment in which to work. They wanted to help foster appreciation and understanding of the value of art and culture, educate park visitors and celebrate Cypress Hills culture. Now it is happening!
By attending this Gala you are supporting their vision and helping us to keep this Residence readily available to artists who need space for their ideas to grow! Your donations and support are greatly appreciated and vital to keeping the Johnson Cultural Centre running for years to come.
Thank you for your support!

**When tickets arrive (soon!) they will be available at The Visitor Centre in Maple Creek as well as The Daily Grind. Stay tuned for more locations and online purchase options!
